The top three things that I consider is the entertainment. The main reason many people use social media is for their own entertainment and how it will boost their daily lives. I also consider resourcefulness which is important because apps like Tiktok not only provide entertainment but their is such a diverse array of information such as career guides. Lastly, I consider versatility. Many apps solely have one purpose but apps like Youtube allow someoen to not only watch short funny clips but also movies and documentaries and informative videos.

During my time as an event coordinator on the Torero Program Board at the University of San Diego, one of our events for AAPI month had to be cancelled. Knowing how important representation is to the student body, my team and I quickly implemented a new event for this community on campus and were able to work with the San Diego community to have a rooftop movie night streaming Everything Everywhere All at Once.
