How do you shop sustainably today?
I shop sustainably in a number of ways. I recently moved to NYC and have been introduced to a wider variety of second-hand stores than I previously had. Additionally, moving into an apartment I’ve been utilizing FB marketplace as well as shopping on second-hand furniture Instagram accounts. I also work for Madewell, which is a brand well known for their passion for sustainability. I’ve participated in denim donations through madewell as well as participated in company clothing swaps!

What role does journaling play in your life?
For me, journaling is a way to make sense of and organize my thoughts, feelings, and day to day activities. Whether it’s to do lists, manifesting strategies, goals, or just freely writing I truly feel like getting words on paper helps me better understand myself. Having gone through many large life changes in the past few years journaling has kept me feeling less anxious and helps me to not overthink about small things. Once it’s on the paper, it doesn’t stay in my mind as long.
