what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?
I would lead sampling efforts by turning them into experiences rather than just handouts. On campus, I’d host ColourPop pop-ups during high-traffic times like game days, sorority events, or outside the student union, offering quick shade matching, mini touch-ups, and “pick your vibe” sampling stations. I’d also organize sorority-based sampling nights where sisters can try products together before formals or themed socials, making it social and fun. Off campus, I’d partner with local coffee shops, boutiques, or fitness studios to include ColourPop samples in checkout bags or host mini beauty mornings. I’d encourage people to post their looks with a branded hashtag in exchange for full-size product giveaways, helping extend the reach beyond campus through organic social content.

How would you engage your audience to promote ColourPop products?
I would engage my audience by actively involving my sorority in the content. I’d create GRWM videos for sorority events, game days, and formals using ColourPop products, and feature my sisters trying the products with me. This could include shade-matching challenges, themed makeup looks for socials, or “rating each other’s ColourPop looks.” I’d also use polls, giveaways, and Q&As to let both my audience and my sorority sisters vote on products and looks, making the promotion feel fun, interactive, and community-based.

what do you love about colourpop?
I love ColourPop because it makes high-quality makeup feel fun and accessible. The shades are trendy but still wearable, the formulas actually perform really well for the price, and I love how the brand doesn’t take itself too seriously. It feels creative, inclusive, and constantly inspired by pop culture while still being affordable.
