Do you have experience using Reddit in a personal and/or professional setting? If yes, add details.
Yes, I have experience using Reddit in a personal setting. I’m familiar with how different subreddits work, the importance of community guidelines, and the style of content that performs well on the platform (short, engaging text posts, relatable memes, polls, and discussion-driven questions).I’ve also observed how successful subreddits grow—by posting consistently, encouraging comments, and creating a welcoming space for members to share their own input. While my experience has been personal, I’ve applied the same principles in other social media spaces (content creation, engagement, and moderation), and I’m confident in translating that into a professional Reddit strategy for HFC.

How would you grow the H\FC community from scratch?
To grow the HFC community from scratch, I would start by focusing on building a consistent and authentic presence on Reddit. I’d create and post engaging daily content tailored to college students, such as relatable experiences, helpful resources, and discussion prompts that spark conversation.Next, I’d recruit and coordinate a small team of content contributors to make sure posts stay fresh, consistent, and reflect different student perspectives. This would help the community feel diverse and active rather than one-dimensional.Finally, I’d actively monitor discussions, respond to comments, and moderate content to keep the space positive and welcoming. By encouraging feedback, highlighting valuable contributions, and running interactive posts (like Q&As, polls, or challenges), I’d create a sense of belonging that motivates members to stay engaged and invite others.Overall, my focus would be on consistency, authenticity, and positive engagement—so the HFC community feels like a go-to hub for college students.
