how do you plan to track successful and unsuccessful content strategies?

I would track performance using platform analytics such as views, watch time, engagement rate (likes, comments, shares, etc.), and audience retention. I can use the features in the app or export them to software such as Excel. By comparing these metrics across different types of content, I can identify patterns in what resonates with the audience and what may be not as engaging. I would then use these insights to refine future content strategies, creating more content based on what works as well as adjusting or testing new approaches for content that underperforms.

What do you think makes a viral video?

I have found that a viral video typically combines a strong hook, relatability, and engaging visuals within the first few seconds. Content that taps into trends, evokes emotion (humor, nostalgia, or inspiration), and feels authentic tends to perform well. As a young adult still finding my identity, I notice that I’m naturally drawn to content that feels authentic and relatable. For many college students, social media also serves as a break from stress, so entertaining and escapist content, like influencer or reality-style videos, tends to perform as well. Content that encourages interaction through comments or shares is also more likely to gain traction.
