My experience creating cooking content began on Instagram Stories during college. As a university student without a meal plan, I had to learn how to cook. Because of this, I decided to turn that into something fun and shareable. I focused on meals that were affordable, could last a few days, and were quick to make. One of my most popular posts was a lasagna video that got so much attention, people DMed me and even stopped me on campus asking to buy a slice!

My content style is all about keeping it visually appealing, easy to follow, and full of personality. I always try to bring joy into it. Whether it's through colorful plating, a catchy, culturally relevant sound, or throwing in a “don’t forget the sazón and perejil!” moment. I love blending my Puerto Rican identity into the content I share.

As a proud Puerto Rican, I’m excited to bring both my Caribbean and Latina roots into this TikTok cooking content. Puerto Rico is often forgotten as a Caribbean island, but our flavors, rhythms, and traditions are deeply Caribbean at heart. I plan to highlight this by cooking with ingredients like sofrito, adobo, and plantains, while blending in storytelling that reflects both the island's rich culture and my own experiences growing up Latina. This mix of Caribbean warmth and Latin spice will create a vibrant, flavorful video that feels personal, engaging, and true to who I am—while giving the zesty sauce a bold, authentic spotlight.
