Describe the way your favorite song makes your feel
My favorite song at the moment is “Spread Thin” by Mariah the Scientist. It feels like floating in a hazy dream, equal parts tender and raw. The airy vocals wrap around me like a late-night confession, while the bittersweet melodies profess the ache of wanting more than someone can give and knowing that it’s time to choose yourself over the person you love. It’s intimate, like reading someone’s diary, and it lingers in your chest long after it ends.

Do you play or study music? if so, elaborate.
Yes! I started playing piano when I was 5 years old, and continued taking lessons until I passed the Level 10 Certificate of Merit Exam. I also joined my middle school orchestra and taught myself to play the viola; I eventually became section leader in my National Award winning high school orchestra, which won competitions such as the National Orchestra Cup in New York.
