share an example of a time you turned a casual conversation into compelling content?
One example of turning a casual conversation into compelling content happened during a campus interview I was conducting. While chatting with a student about their experiences navigating college life, they casually mentioned how they balance studying, social life, and extracurricular activities. They shared a tip that helped them stay organized, like using a planner to prioritize tasks.
I took that insight and transformed it into a quick, engaging video for the campus social media account. In the video, I featured the student’s tip and showed visuals of them using their planner, adding text overlay with the key point, and a voiceover explaining how it keeps them on track. I also included a few fun campus shots and upbeat music to keep it lively.
This turned a simple conversation into valuable content that resonated with other students, offering them a relatable and practical tip for managing their busy college lives. The video ended up getting a lot of engagement, as it felt personal and relevant to the audience.
