Boutique gyms with a strong emphasis on holistic wellness and personalized training experiences would be ideal, as well as luxury hotels and resorts offering fitness amenities aligned with Equipt’s inspiration from travel and art. Additionally, I’d look at partnerships with lifestyle brands and retailers who appreciate the intersection of design and movement, enhancing Equipt’s presence both in D2C and B2B channels. Engaging studios featured in top lifestyle and design publications like Vogue or Elle Decor would further align with the brand’s premium image and audience.

Can you give an example of a successful outreach strategy you have implemented in the past?

During my internship at Ercan International Airport, I helped implement an outreach strategy targeting advertisers for a new terminal launch. We identified and segmented potential clients based on industry and past engagement, then crafted tailored cold emails and calls highlighting the benefits of the new space. By A/B testing subject lines and tracking responses through a CRM, we refined our approach and improved engagement rates, securing several early commitments. Additionally, in my role with the Enactus entrepreneurship club, I led outreach to potential partners for our insect-based protein digital hub, using HubSpot to monitor progress and personalize communications. Combining data-driven targeting with relationship-building in both experiences allowed me to successfully engage diverse stakeholders and generate tangible interest.

I believe first impressions matter, so I’d craft personalized outreach—whether via email, LinkedIn, or a call—highlighting clear mutual value. From there, I’d focus on consistent, respectful communication, listening to their needs, and offering solutions rather than just a pitch. Building trust takes time, so I’d aim to provide helpful insights, stay responsive, and maintain a professional yet approachable tone. Ultimately, relationships grow from genuine interest, reliability, and a shared vision.
