How comfortable are you wearing red lipstick? Also, what do you feel like the current state of inclusivity in the beauty industry is?
As a retired cheerleader, I have experience with wearing a red lip and I wish it was more normalized for everyday looks! The beauty industry is making changes for the better by taking steps towards inclusivity, such as a wider range of product colors, but until all brands understand the importance and make the necessary changes, I will only support the brands that do.

As a Tongan American, with little to no show of representation of my culture on social media, I know the damaging effects of not seeing representation or feeling a connection with influencers. I am extremely comfortable speaking to and trying to connect with black and brown audiences, in fact, it is my target audience.
