Interview Questions

Amplify

Brand Outreach

Amplify Profile Image

What makes you a good fit to represent Amplify in outreach conversations?

I think what makes me a strong fit is that I know how to make outreach feel genuine rather than transactional. I’m naturally personable and good at reading people, so I can adjust my communication style based on the brand or founder I’m talking to. I also bring a marketing mindset, so I’m always thinking about how to position Amplify in a way that actually resonates, whether that’s highlighting value, aligning with their goals, or making the partnership feel like a win on both sides.

Have you ever used LinkedIn or email to reach out to brands, founders, or partners?

Yes! I’ve used both LinkedIn and email to reach out to brands and potential partners, and I’m really comfortable doing it. Most recently, I secured my current internship with a startup by messaging the founder directly on LinkedIn. I sent a personalized message about why I was interested and how I could add value, and it turned into an opportunity. I typically start on LinkedIn to make an initial connection, then follow up over email when I have a clearer ask. I focus on keeping my outreach personalized, concise, and aligned with the brand so it feels genuine, not like a cold message.
