How do you stay updated on the latest social media trends and adapt them into your content creation strategy?

I stay updated with the latest social media trends and algorithm changes within my areas of interest, such as baking, by following key Instagram accounts in the baking community. These creators often experiment with new content formats and share tips that reflect what’s working on the platform. I also engage with baking-focused marketing experts and watch how brands adapt to changes in real time. Testing new features myself helps me quickly see what resonates and adjust strategies to keep content fresh and effective.

How would you engage audiences for art?

I consider baking to be an art form in some ways, and that frosting and sprinkles are my medium. I think that the strategies I use for my content for Sweet Kaia's could also be applied to other art content and engage with that target audience. I'd create media content that focuses on storytelling that brings the creative process and the artist’s vision to life. Sharing behind-the-scenes looks, time-lapse videos of artwork in progress, and personal stories behind each piece helps build emotional connections.
