Not in the sense of not identifying myself initially, but simply making it clear that I am a real person who is really interested in their collaboration. There are too many instances of automated and bot outreaches now for influencers to pay much attention to cold outreach, which is why I would prioritize a real connection.

I would identify influencers that align with a brand's values by first doing a thorough look into the brand and their mission. From there, I would gather a specific vibe and message that fits with that mission, and find influencers who match that vibe and spread that message.
