Have you ever sold something online or in person? Share an example, big or small. Talk about what you learned from that selling experience
Yes, I’ve had experience selling both online and in person through my freelance work with lifestyle and fashion brands. For example, I coordinated influencer and UGC campaigns to promote a client’s products on social media, which drove direct traffic and sales through affiliate links and promo codes. I learned that storytelling and authentic presentation are key—people engage more and are more likely to purchase when they feel a genuine connection with the product or see it integrated naturally into someone’s lifestyle. I also learned the importance of tracking results and iterating quickly, testing different captions, visuals, and offers to see what resonates most with the audience.

What's your video creation process? How do you usually get your inspirations?
My video creation process usually starts with research and inspiration. I spend time exploring TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest to see what trends, formats, and creative styles are performing well, both within the brand’s niche and in broader lifestyle content. Once I have an idea, I storyboard a quick outline or shot list to organize the flow, keeping it concise and visually engaging. Then I shoot, focusing on lighting, angles, and capturing authentic moments, and edit with platform-native styles in mind—adding music, text overlays, or effects that enhance the story. Finally, I review the content through the lens of the audience: does it stop the scroll, entertain, educate, or inspire? I also track performance after posting to refine future videos. Inspiration often comes from trends, real-life scenarios, and creative spins on what’s already resonating with similar audiences.

Tell me about a piece of content you made that got more engagement than usual. What do you think made it successful?
One piece of content that performed exceptionally well was a short-form video I created for a lifestyle brand where I combined a trending TikTok sound with a quick transformation-style clip. The video showed a before-and-after scenario of a space, outfit, or product, paired with fast cuts, upbeat music, and text overlays highlighting key benefits. It received significantly higher engagement than usual—more likes, shares, and comments—because it was timely, visually engaging, and relatable to the audience. I think its success came from a combination of using a trending format, telling a quick story that viewers could connect with, and keeping it authentic while highlighting the product in a fun, attention-grabbing way.
