Quite often, usually a few times a week whether it is grabbing food, going for coffee, or just exploring new spots around the city. We like trying new places a lot, especially small local restaurants or bars we have not been to before. It is a big part of how we hang out and catch up.

What features on Cheqmate are you most interested in?

I’m most interested in the bill splitting and group payment features because they make it really easy to share costs with friends without awkward conversations or confusion. I also like the idea of tracking shared expenses in one place so everyone knows exactly what they owe in real time. The simplicity and speed of settling payments is what stands out to me most.

What makes a TikTok or Instagram video go viral?

There isn't one formula for a viral video, but the biggest factor is keeping people watching. The more watch time, retention, shares, saves, and comments a video gets, the more the platform pushes it to new viewers. In my experience, the videos that perform best have a strong story, create curiosity, deliver value quickly, and keep viewers engaged from start to finish. They also make people feel something, whether that's surprise, inspiration, humor, or curiosity. A lot of creators focus only on the hook, but I think the middle of the video is just as important. If viewers stay engaged throughout the entire video and interact with it, that's when you give yourself the best chance of reaching a much larger audience.
