My audience is primarily Gen Z college students and young professionals, with strong connections throughout the HBCU community in Nashville and Houston. They enjoy lifestyle, beauty, and day-in-the-life content, so piercing and aftercare videos naturally fit their interests. I think they would connect with this type of content because they value authenticity, education, and seeing real experiences from creators they trust. I enjoy creating content that feels like advice from a friend while also emphasizing proper aftercare and safe practices.

How would you film a ‘come with me to get pierced’ video to make it engaging and authentic for your audience?
I'd be my authentic self. I'd start with a hook like, "Come with me to finally get the piercing I've been thinking about for months!" Then I'd capture the outfit, the drive there, jewelry selection, my honest reactions before and after the piercing, and the final result. I'd use trending sounds, captions, and close-up shots while keeping the content natural and personality-driven. Authenticity and storytelling are what make lifestyle content engaging, so I would focus on making viewers feel like they're coming along with a friend rather than watching an advertisement.
