The first frame has to create a question in the viewer's mind that they need answered. Tension and curiosity are what hold an audience, whether it's a stage or a screen, and the first three seconds either earn the next thirty or they don't.

How do you find ideas for TikTok videos that are likely to perform well?
I study trending sounds, formats, and comment sections to find what's already resonating, then look for the emotional hook that makes it feel fresh. As a theatre artist, I lead with storytelling: what's the conflict, the surprise, the feeling? That's what stops the scroll.
