Interview Questions
Uber
Uber Eats Food Truck Brand Ambassador

do you have any experience working activations?
Yes! I’ve worked several activations before. For example, I worked with Amazon Prime as an ambassador for a movie screening where I got to intereact with customers to share benefits of plans and upsell. I was also a Caliwater Brand Ambassador at NYC campus events where I handed out samples, engaged students with the brand story, and created a fun, welcoming atmosphere that drew people in. I’ve also helped run nonprofit and student club events at NYU, like fundraisers and tabling for Students for a Free Tibet and NYU Dance Marathon, where I promoted our mission, managed sign-ups, and kept the crowd engaged. Those experiences taught me how to mix energy, clear communication, and approachability to make activations successful.

How would you engage a crowd to promote Uber Eats effectively?
I’d bring a mix of energy, approachability, and creativity to get people excited about Uber Eats. First, I’d engage the crowd with a warm, upbeat vibe—greeting people directly and sparking quick conversations about their go-to food spots. I’d use light humor or campus-related references to make the pitch feel natural and fun, not sales-y. While handing out flyers or swag, I’d highlight key perks like affordability, convenience, and student-friendly deals, making sure to tie it back to things students care about (late-night study snacks, quick bites between classes, etc.). I’d also encourage people to snap photos at the truck and share them on social media for extra buzz. The goal is to make the activation feel less like a promo and more like a mini event everyone wants to be part of.
