You don't like the product, how do you proceed with this gig? Who do you notify and what steps do you take?
I should notify my supervisor or whoever I am in contact with and let them know in detail what I do not like about the product as well as what aspects I do like about the product. I would likely write out what I want to convey to the product team on a separate document and relay the information through an e-mail to my supervisor.
