Which recent trends on TikTok do you think would be perfect for showcasing CapCut’s tools?

I think current TikTok trends that focus on aesthetic storytelling are perfect for showcasing CapCut’s tools. Trends like “day in my life” vlogs, “study montages,” or “photo dumps with smooth transitions” all highlight editing creativity while keeping things relatable. As a college student at UT Austin, I could bring a unique perspective by capturing the student lifestyle aesthetic, campus walks, coffee runs, late-night study sessions—and use CapCut’s filters, text effects, and transitions to enhance the mood and make it visually cohesive. It’s the kind of content that feels authentic yet elevated, showing how CapCut can transform everyday moments into cinematic, aesthetic stories.

How would you create a short video that highlights a new feature and attracts user engagement?

To highlight a new feature through a short video, I’d build it around movement and emotion to grab attention right away. For example, if it’s dance or singing, I’d start with a dynamic hook, a beat drop, a close-up on a key gesture, or a lyric that immediately draws viewers in. I would use quick, intentional cuts to showcase the feature in action while keeping the energy high and visually engaging. Lighting, color, and rhythm would align with the tone of the feature that is fun. I’d close with a  moment, like a transition or lyric that invites viewers to try it themselves, creating shareability and audience participation.
