For the short-form video asset, I would love to create a day-in-the-life style video that highlights three different aspects of who I am and how Adobe helps support each. In the video, I’d highlight that I am a master’s student at Columbia University in strategic communications, a social media/marketing intern for the Office of Student Life at Columbia’s School of Professional Studies, and last but not least, a content creator. I will be able to highlight how Adobe supports academic, professional, and personal goals using software such as Adobe Express, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and more. It will be authentic to my experience in familiarizing myself with Adobe as a student and navigating career opportunities. 

At Baruch College, I took Basic Graphic Communication, where we used Adobe programs such as Illustrator and InDesign to complete projects focused on the history of design. It was one of my favorite classes as I enjoyed learning about new software and having the ability to be hands-on and creative with different tools in each respective program. However, since it has been a few years since I took the class and my subscription through Baruch had expired, I am now taking the opportunity in my master’s program at Columbia University to relearn Adobe, and I have started with Photoshop. I have been using free time between classes to watch YouTube videos for beginners and learn how to work with layers, leverage the selection tools, adjust photo color with Hue and Saturation, and more. As an aspiring marketing and communications professional and content creator, improving my proficiency in Adobe is one of my goals this year. As an Adobe Creative Cloud Student Creator, this opportunity will allow me to continue learning about what Adobe has to offer and share my journey with other students, hopefully inspiring them to use it as well.
