Tiktok's short-form and personalised content grabbed users' attention, and the pace at which influencers gained virality touched on users' own emotions on gaining popularity, creating explosive user habits. Instagram's use of co-liked reels and blends have recently added to the social aspect of the app, making it more personal and addicitve to use.
