What design software tools are you most proficient in?
I'm most proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. I use Figma daily for UI/UX work, wireframing, and prototyping, especially since my internships at Chamberlain Group and Dexcom involved a lot of interface design and design system work. For brand and graphic design projects, I rely heavily on Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator for vector work and logos, Photoshop for image editing and mockups, and InDesign for print layouts. I also have experience with Miro for collaborative brainstorming and workshops, Sketch for interface design, and Abstract for version control.

Can you describe your experience with brand-focused graphic design?
My experience with brand-focused graphic design comes from a mix of freelance client work and in-house creative projects. Through my freelance practice, I've worked with 5+ clients on everything from logo design and visual identity to merchandise and digital assets. One project I'm proud of is creating the promotional materials and visual identity for the Asian American International Film Festival's annual film festival event. I've also designed brand assets for DJs and student organizations, helping them build their visual presence. At New Belgium Brewing, I designed merchandise and promotional materials for Lightstrike, a new beverage targeting Gen Z that launched nationwide in January 2025. I created cohesive brand touchpoints across digital and print, including illustrations, social graphics, in-store displays, and launch event materials. Working directly with vendors and printers taught me a lot about bringing brand concepts to life in production. Between independent branding projects and product-focused creative work, I've gotten comfortable translating brand strategy into visual systems, whether that's building an identity from the ground up or extending an existing brand into new spaces.
