One STEM-related topic I am passionate about is increasing access to opportunities for young women interested in technology and innovation. Many students are unaware of fellowships, scholarships, mentorship programs, internships, and networking opportunities that can help them launch careers in STEM, especially opportunities that may provide housing assistance, professional development, or direct access to industry professionals.

If selected, I would create content that highlights these resources while also sharing practical advice on building experience and confidence. For example, I would develop content for students who may not have secured an internship and are wondering how to strengthen their resumes through personal projects, volunteer work, online certifications, networking, or campus involvement.

I would also spotlight STEM creators, professionals, and organizations that provide valuable career guidance and inspiration. I am also interested in how technology increasingly intersects with fields like communications, marketing, and the humanities.

As technology continues to shape nearly every industry, I believe it is important for young women to understand how technical and creative skills can work together to drive innovation and create meaningful impact.

Through content, I would aim to make STEM opportunities more visible, approachable, and accessible for the next generation of women entering the field.

This summer, I will be a Social Media Intern at Colle McVoy Agency in Minneapolis.
