Interview Questions

Crebit Pay

International Student 🌎 - Marketing Intern

Crebit Pay Profile Image

What type of TikTok or Reel would you make to explain Crebit in a fun, simple way? -- Are you an international Student? Either Portugal or Brazilian?

I’d create a “day-in-the-life” style TikTok that shows a real international student moment. It would start with a hook like: “POV: you’re an international student and your bank eats your money every time you send it home.” Then I’d show a quick, visual comparison—traditional exchange vs. Crebit—using simple on-screen text to highlight better FX rates and fewer hidden fees. The video would end with a clear takeaway like: “Same money. More value. Less stress.” It keeps things light, relatable, and easy to understand without feeling like an ad.

How would you build trust with international students when introducing a new financial product like Crebit?

I would build trust by leading with clarity, relatability, and consistency. International students are often cautious with financial tools, so it’s important to clearly explain how the product works—especially fees, exchange rates, and security—in simple, transparent language. I’d focus on peer-to-peer credibility, highlighting real international students using Crebit and sharing their experiences in their native language, both online and on campus. Being visibly responsive to questions, showing step-by-step use cases, and maintaining a consistent, supportive presence on platforms like TikTok helps Crebit feel approachable rather than intimidating. When students see a product that understands their specific needs and communicates honestly, trust follows naturally.

What makes you personally trust a new financial app, and how can Crebit earn that same trust from others?

When I decide whether to trust a new financial app, I look for transparency first—clear explanations of fees, exchange rates, and how my data is protected. I also pay attention to how the brand communicates: consistent messaging, responsive support, and real users sharing genuine experiences matter more to me than flashy promises. Crebit can earn that same trust by being upfront about how its FX rates work, highlighting real international student use cases, and maintaining an active, approachable presence on platforms like TikTok where questions are answered openly. When students see a tool being used by people like them, in their own language and community, trust builds naturally.
