Can you share an example of a successful social media engagement strategy you implemented in the past?

For a school project social media strategy, a successful approach I implemented focused on increasing awareness and engagement for Compassion Week, an initiative advocating for gender-based violence awareness. Instead of just posting informational content, we encouraged interactive participation by launching a “Story Share” challenge, where students could repost key facts, personal reflections, or support resources with a designated hashtag. To spark engagement, we collaborated with student clubs and influential peers to amplify the message. Additionally, we used Instagram polls, Q&A boxes, and countdown stickers to create anticipation leading up to events like workshops and speaker sessions. By maintaining an active response system—replying to comments and resharing thoughtful posts—the campaign saw increased interaction, with over 200 story shares and strong event turnout.

How do you prioritize outreach efforts to influencers and creators?

When prioritizing outreach to influencers and creators, focus on alignment with your brand’s goals, audience, and values. Begin by identifying high-impact creators based on relevance, engagement, and authenticity, categorizing them into tiers—top-tier influencers for broad reach, mid-tier for balance, and micro-influencers for niche engagement. Personalize your outreach by referencing their content, highlighting mutual benefits, and offering creative freedom. Prioritize relationship-building over one-time transactions by engaging with their work before contacting them and providing long-term value through exclusive opportunities. A thoughtful, strategic approach ensures meaningful partnerships that drive results.
