What tools do you use to create and edit content on your phone?
I use a mix of creative and editing tools on my phone to make high‑quality content. For videos, I use CapCut for editing, transitions, captions, and templates. For graphics and thumbnails, I use Canva because it’s quick and gives me a lot of design flexibility. I also use apps like Lightroom or VSCO for color grading to keep my feed clean and consistent.

How do you stay updated with social media trends?
I stay updated with social media trends by consistently paying attention to what’s happening on the platforms themselves. I scroll TikTok’s For You Page, Instagram Reels, and X to see emerging sounds, editing styles, and content formats. I also follow creators, brands, and trend forecasters who break down what’s rising in popularity. On top of that, I study analytics from my own content to see what my audience is responding to so I can adapt quickly and stay ahead of trends

What is an example of a time when you delivered results above and beyond what was expected of you?
One example of going above and beyond was in my role as Historian & Media Lead for the FAMU Elite Dance Squad. I wasn’t just responsible for posting content—I rebuilt our entire digital presence by creating high‑quality graphics, reels, and recap videos that helped our posts reach over 40k views, far exceeding our usual engagement. I also took the initiative to capture behind‑the‑scenes moments, manage our brand identity, and coordinate posting schedules to support team events and performances. Because of that extra effort, our visibility on campus grew significantly, and the team gained a stronger, more recognizable online presence.
