Who is your primary audience, and why do you think they would connect with piercing or aftercare content?
My primary audience is other PA students, pre-PA students, and young adults who enjoy lifestyle and “real talk” content. A lot of the people who follow me are either going through the same demanding PA school experience or are interested in what that life actually looks like. Because of that, they tend to connect with content that feels relatable and shows the balance between school, personal life, and self-care. A piercing or aftercare video fits into that because it’s a small lifestyle moment that shows I’m not just studying all the time—I’m still doing normal things and expressing my personal style. Since I’m a PA student, talking about the aftercare side also feels natural because I can share basic health and hygiene tips in a way that’s practical and informative. I think my audience connects with that mix of lifestyle and educational content because it feels honest and reflects the real experience of being a busy student while still making time for things that make you feel like yourself. 😊

How would you film a ‘come with me to get pierced’ video to make it engaging and authentic for your audience?
When I film a “come with me to get pierced” video, I like to keep it really natural so it feels like my audience is just coming along with me for the day. I’d start by talking to the camera while I’m getting ready or on my way there, explaining why I decided to get the piercing and what made me finally go for it. Since I’m a PA student, my life is usually pretty busy with studying and clinical responsibilities, so doing something a little spontaneous like getting a piercing feels like a fun break from the routine. I’d show little clips of the outside of the shop, the check-in process, and maybe a quick look at the jewelry options to build some anticipation. During the actual piercing, I’d keep the camera angle simple and focus more on my reactions so it feels authentic rather than overly staged. Afterward, I’d film a quick reaction in the car or outside the shop, talking about the pain level, how I feel about it, and whether I’d do it again. I think what makes it engaging is letting people see the whole experience—from the nerves beforehand to the excitement afterward—so it feels like they really came along with me. ✨
