I try to approach research with a mix of curiosity and double-checking. I cross-reference sources, ask follow-up questions when something isn’t clear, and keep detailed notes so I don’t lose context. I also check back in with the people or materials I’m learning from to make sure I’m interpreting things correctly and that the information still fits the purpose of the project.

While studying anthropology, I worked on a few research projects that involved interacting with people in healthcare roles. A lot of my focus was on listening and observing how they navigated their work and the systems around them. It taught me how to approach conversations with care and how to look at things from both an individual and a bigger-picture perspective.
