Interview Questions
Blo Blow Dry Bar
Campus Brand Ambassador

What is your experience with organizing or attending college events?
I have experience with both organizing and attending college events through my sorority and campus involvement. I’ve helped with planning and promoting events, creating social content, coordinating brand collaborations, and supporting the overall look and feel of events so they feel exciting and well put together. Because I’m really involved socially on campus, I also attend a lot of student events, so I understand what actually gets people interested and what kind of promotion feels natural. That mix of behind-the-scenes experience and being part of campus life has helped me understand how to create buzz and get people engaged.

How would you promote a new blow dry promotion on campus?
I’d promote a new blow dry promotion through social media, word-of-mouth, and my sorority network. Being in a sorority gives me access to a super social, beauty-focused group, so it would be a great way to spread excitement quickly and naturally. I’d create content around real moments like getting ready for events, formals, weekends out, or recruitment, so the promotion feels relevant to student life. I’d also share it through group chats, Instagram stories, TikToks, and conversations with girls in my sorority and on campus, because beauty recommendations spread fast when they come from people you trust. I think the best way to promote it would be to make it feel fun, useful, and part of the getting-ready experience, not just like an ad.

What marketing channels would you prioritize for launching a new shoe style?
For a new shoe launch, I think TikTok is huge for creating hype fast, especially through styling videos, unboxings, “day in my life” content, and trend-driven posts that make the shoe feel relevant and wanted. Instagram would be important too, especially for polished visuals, reels, stories, and outfit content that shows the shoe in a more elevated way. I’d also really focus on creator content and word-of-mouth marketing, because people trust seeing shoes styled by real people way more than just traditional ads. Seeing how a shoe looks in everyday outfits is what makes people actually want it.
