How do you build rapport with someone you've never met over DM?

I wouldn’t try to sell anything right away, I’d just start by replying to something they posted or mentioning something specific so it doesn’t feel random. just keeping it like a normal conversation at first instead of a pitch, and then once there’s some back and forth, I’d bring up the brand more naturally. I feel like people can tell when something is copy paste, so just keeping it real makes a big difference.

How would you use social media to build relationships with businesses and get them excited about a brand?

I think it’s mostly about making it feel like the brand already has momentum. like if businesses see people actually buying it and talking about it, they’re way more likely to want it in their store.

I’d probably post stuff that shows real people using it and enjoying it, not just clean product shots. even simple things like reactions or quick clips go a long way.

I’d also interact with local businesses on social media, just commenting or reposting their stuff so there’s already some connection there instead of it being random.

I feel like once it looks like people actually want it, businesses get way more interested because it doesn’t feel like a risk

How do you think about the difference between content that builds a brand vs. content that drives a purchase?

I see it as brand content is what makes people care first, and purchase content is what gets them to actually buy.

like brand content is more about showing lifestyle, personality, and making the product feel relatable. it’s what makes someone follow or remember you.

then purchase content is more direct, like showing benefits, results, or why it’s worth it.

I think you need both, but brand content comes first because people usually won’t buy if they don’t feel connected to it at all.
