For my statistics group project, I decided to combine statistics and beauty together. I decided that I would research which two competing cosmetic stores have the lowest store brand products. I presented this idea to my assigned group and they agreed with it. I really wanted to base my project on something I was passion about and that people could use in their everyday life. Since this project was going to be presented in front of the class, I saw this as a great opportunity to view my classmates as consumers. The stores I chose were very popular so I knew that the information I would provide would benefit my audience. I really wanted my consumers to understand what their money was buying and whether it was worth it or not.
