To encourage sign-ups during tabling, I would focus on creating an engaging and approachable experience. First, I’d attract attention with a clean, energetic setup, giveaways, and interactive activities that make students want to stop by. Once students engage, I’d clearly explain the value of signing up by highlighting benefits that are most relevant to them, such as rewards, financial tools, student-friendly features, and exclusive promotions. I’d keep conversations short, friendly, and personalized so students feel comfortable asking questions. I would also make the sign-up process as quick and easy as possible by using QR codes, tablets, or direct links. Creating urgency through limited-time incentives, referral rewards, or event-only perks would further motivate students to sign up on the spot.

Students connect more with real experiences than ads, so I’d use student ambassadors and testimonials to build trust. I’d also organize campus events such as financial literacy workshops, giveaways, referral competitions, and Q&A sessions to make learning about SoFi interactive and fun. Partnering with student organizations and influencers would help expand reach quickly across campuses. Finally, I’d keep engagement consistent through challenges, rewards, and exclusive student benefits that encourage students not only to join SoFi, but also to actively recommend it to their friends.
