To keep the discord active and engaged I would introduce things such as polls and interactive posts to keep people interacting with the discord.
This could also include subject/topic relevant quizzes or links.

How would you handle a conflict between community members?
Attempt to understand the perspective from both parties before jumping to conclusions. Then once having gathered all the information I would assess who, if anyone, is in the wrong and deem an appropriate punishment if necessary.
