How do you stay up-to-date with the latest career trends and advice?

I stay up-to-date with the latest career trends and advice by consistently engaging with multiple sources. I follow career focused creators and platforms on TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn to track evolving job market insights, resume tips, and professional development strategies. I also subscribe to newsletters like The Daily Muse and Harvard Business Review to stay informed on workplace trends and hiring shifts. Podcasts like Career Contessa and How I Built This also help me explore diverse career paths and strategies. Whether it’s through social media, online articles, or listening to others’ journeys, I love gathering practical, relatable advice that I can reframe and share with others in clear, engaging ways.

Tell us about any clubs, organizations, or campus activities you're part of.

At McMaster University, I’ve been actively involved in several campus organizations that reflect my passion for community, leadership, and wellness. I served as VP Internal and VP Events for the McMaster Gujarati Student Association, where I organized large scale cultural events for over 500 participants and managed internal communications. As a coordinator for the ADAPT Program, I worked with adults with disabilities in physical training sessions, fostering inclusivity and health. I’ve also volunteered with SWHAT (Student Walk Home Attendant Team), supporting campus safety at night, and served as a the McMaster Student Union's Maroons Representative, promoting student engagement and wellness. During the school year, as a Maroons Rep, I was a part of the team that promoted student union events, homecoming concerts, and represented the face of the University. These roles have strengthened my teamwork, communication, and leadership skills while keeping me deeply connected to the student community.
