I like to set soft deadlines for myself a few days before the actual due date. That way, I give myself a buffer to handle any last-minute edits or unexpected changes. I also make it a point to double and even triple check with the team, whether that’s confirming details or aligning on the final version, to make sure we’re all on the same page before submitting. As for staying on-brand, I pay close attention to brand voice and visual identity. Whether it’s tone, language, or design elements, I always reference past content or brand guidelines to ensure consistency. Especially when I was home from college working remotely, I made it a habit to stay grounded in the brand by regularly reviewing shared docs, moodboards, and previous posts to make sure everything felt cohesive, even from a distance.

I stay organized by proactively managing my time. I use Google Calendar to block off specific chunks for deep work, meetings, and personal time. I color-code everything so I can see at a glance what kind of tasks I have throughout the day. It helps me set boundaries and keeps me accountable without burning out.
