During college, I helped a student society promote one of their events on social media. I focused on creating simple, engaging content—like posts and stories highlighting what the event was about and why it was interesting. I paid attention to what kind of posts got the most likes and comments, and adjusted my approach slightly based on that feedback. As a result, we noticed more students showing interest and attending the event compared to previous ones. It was a great experience in understanding how to create content that connects with a specific audience.

I start by developing a deep understanding of the target audience — their needs, interests, pain points, and motivations — through research, analytics, and engagement insights. Once I have a clear profile, I tailor the content’s tone, format, and messaging to align with their preferences while ensuring it delivers value and solves a problem or fulfills a desire. I also pay attention to trends, feedback, and performance metrics, using them to refine my approach so the content stays relevant, engaging, and impactful over time.
