What's one brand that's killing their social strategy right now? Why are they standing out?

One brand that has been really standing out to me with their social media strategy is Miista, a shoe product company. With short-form video marketing still on the rise and more effective than ever, the reason why Miista (in my opinion) is on top of this game is because of the video content they choose to market. As a B2C company, its clear that Miista knows their target audience well and what they’re seeking — with more and more consumers aware of the mechanics of brand marketing, people seek transparency and authenticity from the brands they love more than ever. Miista leans into this mindset, focusing content on “how-to” videos, such as “how to care for patent leather”. Not only do these types of videos make clear that Miista is invested in the longevity of their products and the quality that consumers are receiving, but these videos also bring the topic of conversation right back to what is important – the product and why consumers should feel reassured in their product purchase. Furthermore, Miista also experiments with the design and style of their videos, bringing a fresh sense of uniqueness in an otherwise algorithm-strategized video feed, which makes Miista stand out to any social media scrollers that much more. Finally, I noticed that Miista is both proactive and reactive in their comment sections, regularly replying to questions and interacting with social media users. While this feels like standard practice, many brands with followings as big as Miista fail to do this, but by Miista doing so, they effectively communicate, connect, and build a community with current and potential customers.
