What role does nutrition and fitness play in your life? -- What year are you in school and what school do you go to?
Nutrition plays a huge role in my life. As someone who’s dealt with gut and skin issues, I’m always mindful of what I eat and how it affects my health. Living with IBS and SIBO has made me prioritize gut health, so I’m constantly looking for healthy alternatives and high-protein foods. Fitness is equally important to me. I grew up playing competitive soccer and now consider myself a bit of a “gym rat.” I stay active by lifting, hiking with UCLA Peaks and Professors, and skating with UCLA Skate Club. I’m currently a third-year student at UCLA.
