Gen Z Panel — San Francisco

How would you answer this question: What signals tell you a brand ‘gets’ Gen Z versus when they’re obviously trying too hard?

I think brands who engage authentically obviously spend a lot of time consuming the same influences Gen Z users do - media, books, etc. They also spend a lot of time around Gen Z! It's impossible to understand Gen Z without having true conversations with Gen Zers. When they're trying too hard, there are a lot of cues. Like colors, fonts, phrasings, music. A lot of nuance can be communicated even in a 10 second advertisement or a 100 word email copy.

Yes! I have experience speaking on panels, giving speeches, and Q&A. I have organized conferences, spoken on webinars, and given IRL speeches.
