How do you stay updated on Instagram and TikTok trends?
Honestly, I’m chronically online, but in the best way. I spend a lot of time on both Instagram and TikTok, not just scrolling but actively paying attention to what’s gaining traction, how trends evolve, and why certain content resonates. I notice patterns in sounds, formats, captions, and visual styles early on, which helps me spot trends before they feel oversaturated. I also curate my feeds intentionally by following creators, brands, and trend-forecasting accounts that align with fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and social media marketing. I save posts, sounds, and ideas that feel adaptable for different brands, and I think critically about how trends can be translated in a way that still feels authentic to a brand’s voice. Being chronically online means I’m constantly absorbing what works (and what doesn’t), which makes it easier for me to create timely, relevant content that feels native to the platform rather than forced.

What attracts you to influencer and social media marketing?
What attracts me to influencer and social media marketing is how it allows brands like Candier to create real emotional connections, not just push products. I love how influencer marketing blends storytelling, visuals, and personality to spark nostalgia, joy, and community—things that feel especially important for a fragrance-forward brand. I’m drawn to the creative side of the process: brainstorming content ideas, curating creator partnerships, and bringing campaigns to life in a way that feels authentic and fun. Social media moves quickly, and I enjoy staying on top of trends while still thinking strategically about what fits a brand’s voice and aesthetic. With Candier, that balance of playful, sentimental, and visually-driven storytelling is especially exciting to me. I also love how influencer and social media marketing are community-based. It’s not just about reach—it’s about trust, relatability, and creating moments people want to share. Being part of that process, from ideation to execution, is what makes this space so energizing for me.
