I’ve loved making short-form content on TikTok because it lets me connect with people in a fun, quick, and authentic way. I usually pull inspiration from moments in my own life—whether it’s a “day in the life” on campus, a GRWM before a sorority event, or a product I genuinely use and love. I’ve learned how important it is to hook viewers right away, so I often start with a relatable question, a trending sound, or a visual that makes people stop scrolling. I keep my editing clean but energetic, mixing in quick cuts, captions, and transitions that match the vibe of the video. Most importantly, I make sure my personality comes through so it feels like I’m talking to a friend. This personal approach has helped my videos get strong engagement because people feel like they’re part of my everyday life, not just watching an ad.
