Tell us about your experience with creating engaging social media content for brands.
I've created compelling, data-driven social media content across various platforms for a diverse range of companies and organizations. Most importantly, during my tenure as Social Media Manager at Good at Youth, I gained a thorough understanding of what the culture demanded, using trend research to determine what genuinely resonated with young viewers. By learning how to analyze those trends and translate them into targeted, impactful content, we amassed significant growth in just two months.
I'm currently situated in Paris and partnered with WICE's marketing team, where I assist in driving timely, cross-platform campaigns that prioritise fresh, fun, and culturally relevant content for the city. This experience has enabled me to further develop my creative instincts and strategic thinking skills in a genuine global setting. My journey with international audiences truly took shape during my time at Iytal Holistics in London. There, I helped launch geo-targeted video campaigns for our merchandise, conducted live, in-person interviews, and managed performance using online systems. I regularly used tools like Amazon Advertising Console, Canva Pro, and Google Workspace to produce and optimize content with a strong return on ad spend (ROAS).

What is your relationship with your hair?
As someone with 4C hair, the journey has often been challenging. Many girls like me truly love our texture and our curls, but it can feel like an uphill battle to find a regimen that truly meets our hair’s needs. For a while, I carried a bit of shame, especially when I didn’t know how to express my curls fully, whether my ends were brittle or my scalp too oily. Lately, though, I’ve reached a point where caring for my hair has become almost a ritual. I’ve learned to be patient with it, to massage it gently, and to treat it with the attention it deserves. Through trial and error, I’ve found a deep appreciation for the process. My hair has become a kind of sanctuary, something I heal with, not just care for.
