Interview Questions
DoorList
Campus Growth Intern

What organizations would you approach to host DoorList events?
I’d approach campus clubs, Greek orgs, student government, and local Black-owned businesses since they host high-energy events that would benefit from DoorList’s check-in system. I’m also on the e-board of my school’s Culture Collective, so I have direct access to groups that plan showcases, pop-ups, and creative events—perfect spaces to grow DoorList’s presence.

These roles require multiple 2-hour shifts each week and sometimes early mornings or weekends. Are you comfortable with that schedule, and how would you manage your time to stay consistent?
Yes, I’m comfortable with that schedule. I already manage a busy routine balancing school, freelance projects, and social media work, so I rely on a calendar system to block out time for each responsibility. For early mornings or weekends, I plan ahead and adjust my weekday tasks to stay on track. I stay consistent by setting priorities, prepping the night before, and always showing up ready to work.

Can you describe a situation where you successfully increased customer engagement and loyalty?
While managing social media for a dental brand, I boosted customer engagement by launching a weekly “Smile Spotlight” series featuring real patients' before-and-after transformations. I paired these with captions that told short, uplifting stories. This not only encouraged more patients to share their experiences but also built trust and loyalty with new followers. Over time, engagement rates increased and more people began booking consultations through Instagram.
