What's a time when you failed at something but through grit and determination became successful at it?
Generally, many physical activities such as running 5 miles without taking a break or studying for a calculus test. However, one memorable one is learning touch-typing, or, learning how to type with all ten fingers without looking at the keyboard. I spent two months, three hours every day until my words per minute went from ~50 to +100. It's not as high as it used to be since I don't practice as much, but it was pretty up there.
