I’m not a member of a sorority, fraternity, or formal campus club, but I am a nursing student, and my cohort is very tight-knit. We frequently study together and also hang out outside of school, so it feels like a close community even without an official organization.

I typically invite friends to casual events in a few different ways depending on the vibe. I’ve used platforms like Evite for more organized gatherings, created group chats for quick and easy coordination, and also made handmade cards when I want it to feel more personal and intentional.

I’d be most likely to throw a mix of celebratory and social gatherings that bring people together in fun, intentional ways. That would include a graduation dinner party to mark big milestones, a cookout and game night for a relaxed and interactive vibe, a crab fest for a more laid-back, food-centered gathering, and a “Girls in the City” themed night inspired by Sex and the City for a fun, dressed-up evening with friends.
