How do you typically share products or routines you genuinely love with friends or on social media?

I usually share products and routines in a really natural, everyday way—like I’m talking to a friend instead of “promoting” something. If it’s with friends, I’ll mention what I’ve been using when they compliment my skin, hair, or makeup, and I’ll explain what it actually does for me and why I like it. I’m pretty honest too—if something only works in a specific way or didn’t live up to expectations, I’ll say that so they can decide if it’s worth trying for themselves. On social media, I like to show the experience instead of just the product. That can be a quick routine video, a GRWM, or a “this is what I’ve been loving lately” style post where I show how I use it in real life. I focus on how it fits into my day, how it makes me feel, and the results I notice over time rather than just listing features. Overall, I share things in a relatable, honest, and consistent way—so it feels authentic and helpful, not forced or overly curated.

What does self-care look like for you during this chapter of your life?

Self-care for me in this chapter of my life is about balance, intention, and protecting my energy while I’m building my future. As a college student, I’m learning how to slow down in small ways even when life feels busy. Sometimes that looks like skincare at the end of a long day, putting my phone down for a bit, or reorganizing my space so it feels calm again. Other times it’s saying no to things that overwhelm me and choosing rest without guilt. It also looks like staying connected to myself—journaling when my thoughts feel loud, going on walks to reset, or spending time with people who actually feel grounding instead of draining. I’m learning that productivity isn’t the only form of growth; rest, reflection, and doing things I enjoy also matter. Right now, self-care is less about doing everything perfectly and more about staying consistent with the things that keep me mentally, emotionally, and physically well while I grow into my goals.
