Do you have a portfolio? please email it to krysten@ryanportergroup.com.
I don’t have a portfolio or prior work to share yet, but I’m genuinely passionate about learning and growing in this space. My interest in influencer and social media marketing comes from actively studying platforms, analyzing trends, and thinking critically about why certain content works and how it could be improved or adapted for different audiences. I’m highly motivated to build from the ground up, experiment consistently, and apply feedback quickly, and I see this opportunity as a chance to learn hands-on and contribute creatively while developing real skills. I’m eager to put in the work and grow alongside the team.

How do you stay updated on Instagram and TikTok trends?
I stay updated on Instagram and TikTok trends by spending time actively observing how content performs rather than just consuming it casually. I regularly analyze my For You and Explore feeds to identify recurring formats, hooks, sounds, and pacing patterns, and I pay attention to how creators adapt the same trend across different niches. I also test trends hands-on by recreating or remixing them early to understand why they work, while keeping track of platform updates and shifts in algorithm behavior. This mix of observation, experimentation, and iteration helps me stay current while still tailoring trends to fit a brand’s voice and goals.

What attracts you to influencer and social media marketing?
I’m attracted to influencer and social media marketing because it sits at the intersection of creativity, psychology, and real-time feedback. It allows ideas to be tested quickly, refined based on actual human behavior, and scaled through authenticity rather than just budget. I enjoy the challenge of understanding what captures attention, builds trust, and drives action, especially in fast-moving digital environments where experimentation and adaptability matter. The constant evolution of platforms keeps the work dynamic and rewarding, and I find it motivating to create content that feels both culturally relevant and genuinely useful to people.
