Share a few of the most impactful traditions as it relates to March Madness on your campus?
On my campus at University of Kentucky, there are a multitude of traditions associated with March Madness. One being Bigb Blue Madness Tent City, this is where UK fans camp out in a “tent city” around Memorial Coliseum to get free tickets for Big Blue Madness. There is also the UK Alumni Association Pregame Party in which the UK Alumni Association hosts a free pregame party and pep rally in pittsburgh during the first and the second rounds of the tournament. Within this event they have out team swag, different snacks/food, and drinks. Then as far as after game celebrations go, we have been known to get rowdy and flip a car or two as well as the most infamous couch burning post game ritual.

What groups, organizations, or communities do you lead or play a significant role in?
I currently am not a part of any as I wanted to be able to fully immerse myself in the first semester of college and get used to the situation at hand. But in the past I have found myself filling in multiple leadership roles wether it be at work, or at school, or within projects, as well as within sports teams.

If Uber were to host an activation on campus during March Madness, what would be your best idea for the brand to uniquely engage students?
A good idea to help engage students is by creating an uber voucher to an event held directly before another big headlining event. Or have an accompanying option for those not interested in the first. By doing so you can piggy back on the parking situation and have multiple uses of that voucher as well as have an appeal to those who aren’t super inclined to go to big events. But in order to use the voucher you have them attend another event a few days before in order to acquire the voucher. Then once the voucher is used you could also offer UberOne at a discounted price.
