What are the tools and / or advice that you learned as a teen that has supported you in your success?

The word resiliency and it’s meaning grew stronger within me throughout my teen years. First it was my mom giving my sister and me, who are both adopted, bracelets that said “Be Resilient”. This was after a couple hard years of losing many close family and friends. Shortly after, my high school added resiliency into our school “motto”. The word resilience is special to me because it applies to everything and not just academics or jobs. Being resilient is powerful and from that power I have achieved great success in a multitude of different aspects.
